How the World Business Diplomacy Summit Secretariat handles the personal data you provide through this website.
Last updated: 31 August 2026
This text describes current practice and is pending review by the organiser's legal counsel.
Who is responsible
This website is operated by Business Diplomat, the organiser of the World Business Diplomacy Summit. The Summit Secretariat is the controller of the personal data described below and can be reached at summit@worldbusinessdiplomacy.org.
What we collect
We collect only the information you enter into one of the request forms on this site: your name, position, organisation, type of organisation, country, email address and — where you choose to give them — telephone number, LinkedIn profile, website, referral source and the free-text answers describing your interest in the Summit.
We do not use advertising trackers, we do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell or rent data to anyone.
Why we use it
Your data is used to review your request, to correspond with you about it, and — if your request is approved — to arrange your participation in the Summit. Applications are reviewed by the Summit Secretariat.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent, given when you submit a form, and our legitimate interest in assembling and administering the Summit.
How long we keep it
Application records are retained for the duration of the edition to which they relate and for a period afterwards as part of the Summit's institutional archive, so that participation history is available to future editions. You may ask us to delete your record at any time.
Who else sees it
Your data is accessible to the Summit Secretariat and to the service providers that host this site and deliver our email. It is not shared with participants, partners or media, and no participant name, photograph or affiliation is published on this site without separate, explicit approval.
Your rights
You may request access to the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent. Write to summit@worldbusinessdiplomacy.org and the Secretariat will respond.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies of its own. If analytics are introduced, this policy will be updated before they are enabled.
